1. Introduction
Dagger Network Corps ("Dagger", "we", "us", or "our") operates a marketplace connecting organisations with vetted security service providers. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you use the Dagger platform ("Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us and information generated through your use of the Service, including:
- Account information: name, email address, phone number, job title, and login credentials
- Organisation details: company name, registration number, address, and industry
- Professional credentials: licences, registrations, insurance certificates, and accreditations (Security Firms)
- Requirement and bid content: scope of work documents, site details, pricing, timelines, and supporting materials
- Payment and billing information: invoicing details and transaction records (we do not store full payment card numbers)
- Communications: messages sent through the platform, support requests, and correspondence with Dagger
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, search queries, and interaction timestamps
- Device and technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and referral source
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Operate and improve the platform, including matching clients with suitable security firms
- Verify professional credentials, licences, and insurance for Security Firm vetting
- Facilitate bidding, contracting, and communications between Clients and Security Firms
- Process transactions and maintain billing records
- Send transactional notifications, platform updates, and support messages
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and prohibited conduct
- Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests from authorities
- Analyse usage trends to improve platform features and user experience
4. Information Shared Between Users
The Dagger marketplace requires limited sharing of information between Clients and Security Firms to enable bidding and contracting. Specifically:
- When a Client posts a requirement, relevant scope details are shared with Security Firms on the platform
- When a Security Firm submits a bid, their profile, credentials, and bid details are shared with the Client
- Once a contract is formed, both parties receive the contact and operational information necessary to fulfil the engagement
- Dagger limits information sharing to what is necessary for the transaction and does not grant open access to user profiles
5. Information Shared with Third Parties
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with third parties only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: payment processors, cloud hosting providers, email delivery services, and analytics tools that process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations
- Credential verification partners: agencies or registries used to verify licences and professional credentials
- Legal compliance: when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Dagger, its users, or the public
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, where your information may transfer to a successor entity with equivalent privacy protections
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information, including encryption of data in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls limited to authorised personnel, regular security assessments, and monitoring for unauthorised access. No system is completely secure; in the event of a data breach that affects your rights, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Credential and vetting records for Security Firms are retained for the duration of their membership and for a reasonable period thereafter. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time, subject to legal retention requirements.

We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles or share tracking data with advertising networks.
10. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for business use by adults and organisations. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law.
